I just joined Facebook!!! After numerous people bugged me about it, I got down and created an account! But that's about all that I did so far... I feel pretty stupid coz I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing so I think I sent out a bunch of friend requests and invites from my gmail without even sorting through the list and I realized I made a lot of random requests to people i don't know very well... oops... I'm still messing around so hopefully I'll get a hang of it soon!!!

Bitch Session

2007 hasn't gone too well so far... so I'm bitching about it now...

Cars/Driving
- in February, had a hit and run incident where someone left the entire driver side of the S scratched...
- this week, I got rear-ended driving the S, now it feels like every muscle is aching from the impact...
- On Feb 26, i got my first speeding ticket... I was driving 10 over... when the cop pulled me over... he said 'Ma'am you were going 10 over'... I almost wanted to say I KNOW!! Everyone else drives at 80 in Socal! Some friends told me since it was end of the month, he might have had quota issues... I finished traffic school this week..

The thing with cars is- I don't even drive the S that often anymore! I usually drive our old Subie but these things only happen when I drive the baby S!!!!!!

Sports and Shows (i know this one is a bit childish...)
- I had two picks in mind- Nuggets (Iverson!) and Suns... Nuggets I knew was a tough sell... but the Suns I thought had pretty good chance! But they had to lose to the dirty Spurs... freaking Horry... I hated him from the Lakers, now I hate him even more! Now I'm left cheering for my third pick- Cavs... but looks like they're going out soon too- I'm not watching anymore!
- American Idol- the two people I didn't want to see win- Sanjaya (for obvious reasons)... and Sparks! One of them had to win... and Melinda was sooo ripped off..
- Superbowl... I was going for the Patriots and Saints... we all know what happened there
- Greys Anatomy- the show just suck big time now

With TV/Sports- it's really my main source of entertainment and time-killer, now I just don't feel like watching anything! Hopefully Federer won't win the French Open (yea I don't like him- he's killing the sport by winning allllllll the time!)

Work
In short, 50/60-hour weeks have become a norm for me... I know I have no one really but myself to blame for it since I'm not willing to let it go and just go home... I can't really enjoy my weekends now because I spend my weekends either working, trying to catch up on house work, or resting from an exhausting work week... I know a lot of people work much longer hours than I do... you bankers and consultants out there, but one of the perks of working in my small company is that no one is expected to work more than 40... I guess what I'm really whining about is I'm exhausted, hopefully this long weekend will help

Good things in Life
Ok... of course there are good things happening too so I won't be ungrateful and not mention them

- Moved into an awesome apartment with attached 2-car garage... never had a garage my whole life, this is pretty interesting and awesome to me!
- Two great friends are moving to LA later this year- I can't wait!
- I'm planning a trip to NYC in Late July/Early Aug! Bau said he wants to see a REAL commitment before he beileves me... apparently I cancel trips a lot... but I'm buying my tickets sooon!
- I think our stocks are doing well... kelvin handles that but I think they are doing good :)
- I'm finally watching HD TV- getting very spoiled by that

I've been so busy it's nuts and I don't even know where to begin... sometimes I feel like I forget to enjoy life... just gotta remind myself!

I really enjoy great times with friends and my babies at home! The pictures say it all :)

Went skiing over President's Day weekend...

Happy New Year

2006 went by so quickly! I was in Hong Kong over xmas... some highlights-

- saw my family and cousins- it's always fun to hang out and be stupid with the cousins... heh
- saw friends- it was good seeing all of you!
- my brother proposed!!! i have another sister in law on the way- wee!
- went to bali with my family

As usual, i'm glad to be back to see my doggies! don't have any resolutions since i never seem to make any of it happen.. i guess i'll just keep going with the flow for now...

Snake in Office!! (Yea for real! AHH!!)

So there were 7 of us in the boardroom for our weekly production meeting that I lead... We were discussing this one item for quite a while, and I saw my graphic designer look down on the carpet, then her eyes glared and then she screamed!! Of course I start screaming coz we get lizards in the office quite often so I assumed it was a lizard and looked down.

It wasn't a lizard, it was a SNAKE!!!! So I just jumped and ran out and screamed at the top of my lungs!!!!

My boss who wasn't at the meeting ran out of his office and thought it was either spider or lizard and i just screamed SNAKE SNAKE SNAKE!! then i broke down in tears... I was just TERRIFIED!!

Of course one after another, all the girls ran out. One guy went out to get the dust pan to 'sweep out' saying it's JUST A GARDEN SNAKE... then some other dude went in, next thing I know, they realize it's a RATTLE SNAKE!!! It escalates.. now even the guys are freaked out!

The next 10 minutes were all a blur to me coz I was just panicking... and then of course, after they 'swept out' the snake... I had to finish the meeting..

After thoughts-
Why didn't they call animal control or something for something that's poisonous and can kill?!?!?!?
How can they just SWEEP it right outside our office?!?! What if it comes back?!?!?!?!??! It found a way in the first time, it would have no problem coming back!

I'm just so shock that it happened... and I worked the rest of my day with my feet off the ground... definitely no open toed shoes for a while.

November- Celebrations!!

Went out with my coworkers/friends for my bday!

It's been a while since i played pool... fun fun!

also had yummy dinner with baby on my bday- but forgot to take pics! :(

Then baby's bday- we had this huge souffle at dinner, the server put a candle on it!

It was quite yummy

Today is pepper's birthday. I was so excited coz I ordered a 5 inch birthday cake for him and Tobi to have a party!

I picked the cake up, bought a dog bone candle, and doggie birthday celebration hats- ALL EXCITED TO GO HOME to celebrate...

I got home and realized Kelvin took the camera to Europe with him.... I'm so bad, I decided not to have the party coz the party isn't good without pictures... I'm a horrible mom...

Good thing I picked up some doggie cupcakes as well at the doggie bakery, so Pepper and Tobi each got one.

I'm a proud mom!

I'm so proud! I submitted a pic of Tobi too, and i thought Tobi's pic was better than Pepper, too bad he didn't make it... I love Tobi just as much

Following week- Went to the OC Fair and had lots of fun!

So i thought these pigs would be like infants... super slow and bumping into each other while they 'raced' and i was already ready to take pictures in the first heat...

turns out they are fast like pepper and tobi! so i made a video in heat 2-

It was a good trip- a bit short, but I got to see people and spent a lot of time with my family in China!

Came back and had a whole week of jetlag and had to work like nuts!!

Went to Vegas with Cyndy to watch amei- though it was tiring, it def worth it!

Then it was my baby Tobi's bday last week! We made the babies boiled chicken- yumyum!

It's been one year since we adopted him (i gave him bday of Jun 1 when i got him)- time really flies, and i've def fallen in love with him!! He's my lil baby- happy birthday! we also took them to the dog park and all- they had so much fun and it made me so happy!

Finally, SOOOO HAPPY COZ STAN AND ANGIE ARE COMING TO LA FOR JULY 4!! YAYYAYAY!! Happy Birthday to both of them of course!! Felix is gonna be here too- another reunion for us all to hang out and chill- seriously cant wait! and we can play with wong gum gum too- heheh!!
